UI and Addons
The installed interface is a curated Wrath client stack: ElvUI and Titan for the frame, DBM and AtlasLoot for fights and loot, plus custom bridges for the server’s own systems.
Status: LIVE — 117 third-party addon folders are installed. Limited: WarcraftXL visual effects require its client runtime. Disabled: AuraTimers, Quartermaster Ledger, and PaperDollAH are not usable. Staff-only: AzerCoreOps mutations, GMItemLookup add/delete,
/dloot add/gmadd, and the WarcraftXL object editor.
At a glance
- 117 third-party addons are installed. The 23
Blizzard_*directories are client UI stubs with no TOC and are not counted as addons. - 56 addon folders are required or load-bearing. 55 carry an explicit required marker;
DBM-Coreis the shared dependency for the DBM modules. - 12 addons are explicitly marked DO NOT DISABLE. Disabling one can remove a server bridge, not just a cosmetic panel.
- ElvUI, Titan, DBM, AtlasLoot, WeakAuras, Skada, Questie, and Gatherer are the main general-purpose suites.
- AIO_Client is the addon delivery and client-server bridge. Do not disable it.
- Custom windows cover transmog, reforging, reagent bank, gear bank, progression, glyphs, NPCBots, Pocket Pals, Timewalking, and loot browsing.
- AuraTimers, Quartermaster Ledger, and PaperDollAH are disabled. Their commands may still exist, but the server-side feature is off or the panel hides itself.
/qtipis not a RaidComp or CraftCourier command. It is the diagnostic command for the embedded LibQTip library; RaidComp loads later and owns it.- No addon grants items, teleports you, changes rates, or bypasses server restrictions. Addons are client-side.
How to use the interface
- Leave required addons enabled. Use
/acpor the character-select AddOns list to inspect them, but do not clear the required checkboxes. - Open the main UI suite with
/ecfor ElvUI, or/titanfor the Titan panel. - Open a custom system with its own command. Reagent bank
/rbank, reforging/reforge, transmog/tmog, gear bank/gbank, progression/dip, glyphs/xglyph, Pocket Pals/pals, Timewalking/tw. - Use
/alfor AtlasLoot and/dlootfor the live creature-loot browser. - Use
/dbmfor boss mods. DBM pull, break, and range commands are listed below. - Reload after addon changes with
/reloador/rl. If the AIO-managed addon set is stale, use/aiofirst and/aio resetonly as a last resort. - Report UI errors with
/bugvault. It opens the local error archive./bugsackopens the same options page.
Required addons and warnings
The 12 DO NOT DISABLE addons
These are explicitly marked in their TOCs. Keep them enabled even if you do not use the related feature; several of them carry server communication or required UI hooks.

BonusLootRolls | Lucky Coin bonus-roll prompt and display. | /bonusloot |

Other required addons
ACP— in-game addon manager,/acp.AzerCoreOps_Titan— Titan launcher for AzerCore Ops.DinkleIP— individual progression selector,/dip.ElvUI_OptionsUI— ElvUI options panel.ProfessionLibrary_ElvUI— ElvUI skin for Profession Library.ProfessionLibrary_Titan— Titan launcher for Profession Library.SetXpBar— XP-bar controls and the/xpratewrapper.WarcraftXLControl— WarcraftXL renderer and presentation options,/wxl.WoW-Ace3— Ace3 library used by multiple addons.- 34 DBM encounter modules — all declare
RequiredDeps: DBM-Core. DBM-Core— the shared dependency that makes those 34 modules load.
If a required addon is disabled, expect a missing panel, a broken bridge, a DBM module that will not load, or an addon that silently stops updating. Re-enable it before troubleshooting the feature itself.

/wa or /weakauras | Open WeakAuras. |
/skada | Open Skada. |
/questie or /questieclassic | Open Questie options. |

/craftcourier | Open CraftCourier. |
/arl or /ackisrecipelist | Open the bundled Ackis Recipe List. |
/range, /distance | DBM range check. |
/titan | Open Titan options. |
RaidComp has no slash command. Open it from its Titan/broker icon or the addon options. /qtip is not a RaidComp or CraftCourier command; it is the LibQTip library diagnostic. Both addons embed LibQTip, and RaidComp loads later, so RaidComp owns /qtip when both are loaded. Do not document /qtip as a player feature of either addon.
Disabled and limited addons
| Addon | Status | What you need to know |
|---|---|---|
AuraTimers | Disabled | Server module is off. /auratimers and /atimers may still be registered, but no live aura data arrives. |
QuartermasterLedger | Disabled | The Quartermaster Ledger server module is disabled. /quartermasters and /qml will not show a usable launcher. |
PaperDollAH | Disabled | It sends .ah, and .ah is disabled server-side. The button hides itself when the server reports the feature off. |
WarcraftXLControl | Limited | Native time, weather, skybox, and object tools need the matching WarcraftXL runtime. The addon alone does not create those effects. |
GoblinGliderProbe | Diagnostic | Local trace recorder for testing; not a gameplay feature. |
ElvUI_OptionsUI | Required | Load-on-demand options panel for ElvUI. Keep it installed. |
No client addon can turn a disabled server module back on. AuraTimers, Quartermaster Ledger, .ah, portable transmog, and similar features are server-controlled.
Tips
- Do not disable AIO_Client. It is the addon delivery path and the client-server bridge.
- Do not disable DBM-Core. All 34 DBM encounter modules declare it as a required dependency.
- Use
/acpto check what is loaded before deleting a saved variable or reinstalling the interface. - Use
/reloadafter enabling an addon. A full client restart is safer after a large addon update. - Use
/aio resetonly as a last resort. It clears the local AIO cache and reloads the UI; it is not a general “fix my settings” command. - Open
/bugvaultafter a Lua error. It gives a readable local archive instead of a chat spam loop. - Check the server command before blaming the addon. A UI button can be present while its server feature is disabled.
- Use
/dlootfor live loot tables. AtlasLoot’s static pages and the dynamic browser are different tools. - Do not expect
/qtipto open RaidComp or CraftCourier. Use their own windows or icons. - Do not use PaperDollAH as an auction house shortcut. There is no remote auctioneer.
- Keep
/xpratewithin the server range. The wrapper does not change the.xplimits. - Use
/twfor Timewalking, not the dungeon finder. Timewalking is a separate custom system. - WarcraftXL visuals are client-side. Other players may not see the same sky, weather, or beam rendering.
Limits and configuration
- Addon count: 117 third-party addon folders; 23
Blizzard_*stubs with no TOC are excluded. - Required: 56 load-bearing addon folders; 12 are explicitly DO NOT DISABLE.
- Addon control:
/acpworks in game; character-select addon settings can also disable addons per character. - Required failures: disabling AIO, DBM-Core, or a custom bridge can break functionality that has no in-game replacement.
- Disabled addons: AuraTimers, QuartermasterLedger, PaperDollAH.
- Limited addon: WarcraftXLControl native effects require the matching WarcraftXL client runtime.
- No Auctionator addon: Auctionator is a server-side module. PaperDollAH is not a substitute.
- No remote auctioneer:
.ahis disabled; PaperDollAH hides itself. - No portable transmog: the Transmogrification addon still supports the NPC service, but portable transmog is off with Plus.
- No addon-granted items or rates:
/xprateis a wrapper for.xp; it does not expand the allowed range. - No hidden addon commands for loot:
/dloot addand/dloot gmaddremain staff-only. - No
/qtipplayer feature: it is a library diagnostic shared by embedded copies. - Local diagnostics:
/bugvault,/aio,/ftadbm,/wxl, and/glideprobeare client tools, not server powers.

Admin note
Install location. Client addons live under Client-Files/From_The_Ashes_Client/Interface/AddOns/. The live tree has 140 addon directories: 117 third-party addons and 23 Blizzard_* stubs without TOCs. Do not count the stubs in the player addon total.
Required-marker audit. 55 addon folders carry ## Title: ... [Required], a non-empty ## RequiredDeps:, or ## X-WarcraftXL-Required: 1. The 34 DBM encounter modules depend on DBM-Core, making 56 load-bearing addon folders. The 12 explicit DO NOT DISABLE entries are AIO_Client, BonusLootRolls, ExtraGlyphSlots, GearBankClient, NetherBot, NPCBotPaperdoll, ReagentBankUI, ReforgeUI, RelicSuffixTooltipFix, SpellChargeCooldowns, Timewalking, and Transmogrification.
Never strip TOC markers. ## X-WarcraftXL-Required: 1 is used by the client/runtime integration. ## RequiredDeps: is used by the load-order resolver. Removing either can produce missing addons or partial bridges even if the Lua files are present.
AIO delivery. AIO_Client is required and must stay enabled. It downloads and caches server-provided addons and carries AIO messages. /aio reset clears the local AIO cache and reloads the UI; it can reset AIO-managed saved data, so back up a character’s WTF folder before using it as a repair step.
Disabled addons and server reasons. AuraTimers is disabled by the live server module; QuartermasterLedger is disabled with the Quartermaster Ledger module; PaperDollAH sends .ah, which is disabled in worldserver.conf. Keep those addons installed if the server module may return, but do not document their commands as working player features.
WarcraftXL. WarcraftXLControl is required for the custom UI options, but visual time, weather, skybox, and object-editor effects only work with the matching WarcraftXL DLL/runtime. /wxl objects, /wxl object, and /wxl go are staff tools; do not present them as player commands. /wxlanim is a developer animation lab.
GM and staff surfaces. AzerCoreOps has a player mode and a GM mode; server mutations require GM authorization. GMItemLookup browsing is available, but add/delete is GM-only. /dloot add and /dloot gmadd rely on GM item-add commands. None of these should be listed as player loot commands.
LibQTip collision. Both RaidComp and CraftCourier embed LibQTip. The library registers /qtip; RaidComp loads later and owns the command when both are loaded. Document /craftcourier, /arl, and /ackisrecipelist for CraftCourier. Document RaidComp as icon/options-only.
Diagnostics and reloads. /acp shows the loaded set; /bugvault opens the local error archive; /aio prints the AIO command list; /ftadbm status shows the custom DBM bridge; /wxl opens the WarcraftXL panel. After addon changes, use /reload or restart the client. If a required addon is missing, check the per-character WTF/.../AddOns.txt before reinstalling the entire interface.
Do not overwrite live addons with random Wrath packages. Preserve the custom TOCs, required markers, and the embedded libraries; several addons share the same LibQTip and Ace3 copies.
If this roster changes, update this document and Overview.
